Show employers what you've actually done.
A CV is your word. A Skill Passport is a record of your real experience, confirmed by the people who saw it. Employers get evidence they can trust, and you get considered for the interview.
How it works
Three steps. No app to download and no account to create.
-
You add what you've done
Jobs, placements, volunteering, projects, sport, courses. Anything where you turned up, took responsibility or learned something.
-
Someone who saw it confirms it
A manager, teacher, coach or client gets a short form. It takes them under a minute and they answer factual questions only.
-
Employers get a verified report
A one-page report, ordered for the role you want. You decide who sees it. No scores, no rankings.
More counts than you think
If you stuck with it, took on responsibility or someone relied on you, it belongs in your passport.
- Part-time and weekend jobs
- Placements and internships
- Volunteering
- University and college projects
- Sport, clubs and societies
- Your own projects or business
- Courses you've put into practice
- Caring and family responsibilities
Skill Passport doesn't replace your degree, certificates or references. It shows the experience they don't.
For verifiers and employers
Trust is the whole point, so every entry says exactly who confirmed it and how.
Asked to confirm someone's experience?
You'll get a link with a few tap questions about what you saw: the role and dates, whether they turned up reliably, and whether you'd have them back.
Factual questions only. You're not rating the person's character, and your answers appear exactly as you give them.
Hiring?
Get a short report on each candidate showing verified experience, who confirmed it, and how long they stuck with things. It reads in under a minute.
Free for employers during the pilot. Email marko@skill-passport.co.uk to take part.
Start your passport
This first step takes about 3 minutes: who you are and where you're heading. Next you'll add your experiences one by one. Before you start, read the privacy notice.

Skill Passport is a pilot run by Altor Group Ltd. This is how we handle your information. If anything is unclear, email marko@skill-passport.co.uk.
What we collect
Your contact details, your education, the role and field you're aiming for, the experiences you add, and the answers from the people you ask to confirm them. We don't ask for medical or other sensitive information.
Why we collect it
- To build your Skill Passport and the report you can share with employers.
- To contact the people you name so they can confirm your experience.
- To ask you later whether your report helped, so we can improve the service.
We rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Who sees it
Only the Skill Passport team. Your report goes to an employer only when you say so. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Your answers are stored in Microsoft 365, in UK data centres. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which only processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the page securely. The website uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Until the end of the pilot, or 12 months at most. After that we delete it, unless you ask us to keep your passport.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
